I will step into opinion for just a moment: the most long lasting businesses in history are ones that have tremendous value for the consumer regardless of the business sales model. TVI Express focuses on the business opportunity 99% on their website so this raises a need to explore much further than what is found on advertising websites.

Regarding their service, all I could find is that TVI Express has relationships with travel and lodging providers and I imagine that as a member you get a certain amount of discount as well as a way to sell travel at a discount. I do not know how you can sell travel in the U.S. without being a licensed Travel Agent; you will have to ask your prospective TVI Express sponsor that question.

There is plenty of copy on the business opportunity. That is the focus of the TVI Express website. They, like most network marketing companies give you a replicated website, back office management system, online and offline marketing tools, and down-line status reports.

The one time investment at present is $250 to join TVI Express. The compensation plan is not explained to well on their website; however, there is some information that reveals what appears to be a revolving matrix compensation plan.

Your prospective sponsor can give you the details, but as an outsider researching, this looks like three different matrix levels and an opportunity to recycle as you fill them. There are several testimonials from people that have cycled through and earned a substantial income in a relatively short period of time.

TVI Express is a new company (2008) and expresses the vision of becoming a large network marketing company focused on the opportunity for the home based business person. The service to the consumer seems to take secondary place in their advertising.

Travel is a very lucrative industry and when business is conducted with value to the consumer, all persons and organizations involved in the exchange benefit.

Success with any opportunity requires careful research, a service or product aligned with your passion, a service or product that you would buy regardless of any business opportunity attached, and mentored training in marketing for exceptional delivery to the market place. Keep this in mind as you review TVI Express and any other home based business opportunity.

TVI Express also know as Travel Ventures International Express was created in the UK in April of 2008. As of this time the company has changed locations to India by all indications. TVI Express is a business opportunity and a travel discount club in one. You invest just $250 this business opportunity. The $250 gets you membership to the travel discount site and a travel voucher for 6 days and 7 night anywhere around the world in a 5 star resort. These are the only costs associated with your start up costs. Your income is based on your referrals of new TVI Express members. If you refer two new customers qualifies and they refer two new members you become eligible for a recurring $10,000 payout.

The Products

The product is the 7 day and 6 night stay at a 5 star resort anywhere in the world. You also get a life time membership to your own discount site. You also get a website, a back office, a down-line progress report and internet marketing tools like banner ads. This for a one time start up cost of $250.

The Compensation

The company’s compensation is a a revolving matrix with two 2 by 3 matrices, Travel Board and Express Board. When you cycle out of the Travel Board you get $250 in commission and $250 in e-vouchers for a total of $500. By sponsoring just two people you can cycle out of the Travel Board. When you cycle out of the Travel Board you are put into the first level of the Express Board. By cycling out of the Express Board you earn $10,000 in commissions and a $5000 travel voucher to be used with TVI exclusive travel.

Is TVI Express scam? It started looking a little “fishy” after their move and the fact that they haven’t yet announced their new headquarters. It has to be taken into consideration that it is a new company that exploded into expansion in to North America, and struggles to handle the increased traffic. There are people that are turning that $250 in to $10,000 with TVI Express, but only time will tell if its a lasting company.

In order to create an income with TVI Express you need to sign up new members. To sponsor new members and earn the commissions you need to market and generate leads for your business. TVI Express does not have a marketing system that new home business owners can plug into and start learning and marketing. A duplicable marketing system is the missing link in most companies, not just TVI Express, but it is essential for success.

You’ve joined a fine company by the name of Fortune Hi Tech Marketing (also known by FHTM) and you’re excited as all get-out because this is an AWESOME business and you can hardly sleep for thinking of the presentation you saw and the potential for how much money you’re going to make!

You’ve made your (warm) list, checked it twice and now you’re off to start contacting those top people to show them the plan. Once you’ve hit your entire list, now what? What do you do next? Who do you talk to now?

These are REAL concerns that I’ve heard from REAL Fortune Reps. So based on those concerns, I’ve decided to outline some tips to help you bring a bit more momentum to your business…

TIP #1: Warm Up To Your Warm List – BUT… Upon doing some research online for ways to help grow your business, you’ve probably come across some information telling you NOT to approach your warm market – maybe even from ME!

But the truth is, you can approach your warm market HOWEVER…you don’t want to come at them with the business presentation right off but rather approach them with your PRODUCTS! That’s right, lead with your products when dealing with your warm market. Remember, develop a strong customer base first and get some residual income flowing into your pockets and then start finding your business builders!

Depending on HOW “warm” they are, simply ask them for their support by switching over the things they already use that YOU offer. For example, you could head off the conversation with, “Hey Dad, when does your cell phone contract end? ” and go from there! And if your warm folks say no, don’t pressure them and try not to get offended…simply leave them your card and request that if they change their minds or if they come across someone who may be interested to let you know and then move on to the next person!

But I am just of the firm belief that warm market is best for developing your first group of customers and from there, should they decide to look into the business, allow it to be their decision based on their satisfaction with the products and services offered and/or the realization that, “HEY! I can make money by getting folks to use these services!”

TIP #2: Pick One Area And FOCUS on It… Within Fortune, you have a variety of products and services that you offer. One of the things I’ve often suggested to other FHTM Reps I’ve coached is to pick one of the products/services and really learn the in’s and out’s of it…in other words, become an EXPERT in that area! For example, when I was in Fortune I was going to focus on the Travel FHTM area. My intention was to set up a blog and post HELPFUL tips on how to get the best deals, best times of the year for traveling, etc. I was going to be the “Travel Expert” in a sense and then when people looked to travel, they’d choose to book their flights through me!

So again, my suggestion is that you choose one of your many services (Identity Theft, Home Security, etc.) and offer a website/blog, do “tweets” on Twitter, and post FaceBook status updates, etc. that give or point to helpful or informative tidbits dealing with the importance of identity theft protection or why every home owner needs home security, etc. Maybe even do a “comparative review” on the different ones out there and then mention the one YOU recommend with a discreet link to your site. There are many different ways to go about it. And finally…

TIP #3: Set Yourself Apart From All Other FHTM Reps… Okay, now that you’ve done the whole “warm list thing”, now comes the FUN part – going beyond the warm list! But first, take a look at your FHTM website. Now, take a look at anyone else’s – your sponsor’s, for example. Anything different? Nope! No difference other than the name on it.

So, what’s going to make YOU stand out from all the other Fortune Reps out there?

What is going to cause someone to choose to sign up with you rather than someone else in the same company with that same website? Here’s something I’ll bet you’ve “never” heard before – “People join people, not businesses!” What YOU have to do is allow people to get to see and know you. What you DON’T want to do is to let them see you as a peddler, a beggar or a greasy-slick salesman. You want people to see you as a LEADER…an expert, as I mentioned in the above tip, but even aside from the product aspect… an expert on the business side as well. For me personally, if I were looking to get into this business (especially if I were new to the industry or to marketing) I would want to join someone who I feel:

1. Is knowledgeable about the business

2. Is knowledgeable about what it takes to succeed in this business

3. Can show me how to generate leads BEYOND my warm list

4. Can teach me (or point me in the right direction to learn) how to market and promote this business effectively

So, be sure that you have these traits because I’m sure that most people who are SERIOUS about building a business will look for the same or similar qualities as well! If you’re not too sure or you feel you flat-out don’t have these qualities, then start developing them NOW!

Stop desperately trying to recruit people into the business, start focusing on getting customers and start EDUCATING yourself and learning your business and how it works (not necessarily every intricate detail but enough to at least appear to know what you’re talking about) and learn a system of marketing that your team members can duplicate!

Two innovative technology firms have advanced their position in the Defense and Military Market. Both firms were literally unknown quantities in the selected target niches, with top Defense Contractors/Integrators and selected Government Agencies and Program Offices. Both firms had little to no recognized position or opportunity base.

Each addressed a different target segment, applications emphasis and technology sector, although both firms strategically determined that the Defense and Military Market was their highest priority, after careful front-end, research was conducted.

One firm is dedicated to MIMO Multi-Antenna Radio platform solutions that cater to the C4ISR segment, with emphasis on ground-based (urban warfare), ship-to-shore or ship-to-ship communications and real-time video surveillance for border/perimeter control to support the Homeland Security initiative.

The other firm is dedicated to 3-D Virtual Immersive Simulation systems targeted at a range of combat-ready, training applications, like the Patriot Missile Radar project and the Killer Bee UAS project, which assist field-level, technical engineers to perform maintenance and repair functions.

This upgrades and replaces conventional training packages and moves the training application from videos, manuals and paper tests to complete, PC-based, virtual training programs that can be network deployed.

The objective of both firms was to gain quick access and entry to the Defense and Military complex, with heavy emphasis on US Defense Contractors (primary consumers) in phase one. Given that both firms were early-stage, companies, they could not sustain large program investments or extended selling cycles. Further, they needed to build a rich, opportunity base quickly.

Although the structure and make-up of their integrated marketing programs were distinctive, they did share common elements:

1) Vertical Industry Target Development
2) Product Launch/Roll-Out (for radio platforms and training systems, respectively)
3) Target Account and Opportunity Base Development
4) Channel Partner Recruiting/Development (Distribution Network)
5) Active Media Coverage (Industry-noted, Publications).

Industry contacts/relationships with Program Managers, Engineering Management and Senior Executives allowed both firms to gain quick visibility and access to the TOP 60 Defense Contractors (cross-division). These connections also allowed each firm to get up-to-bat with major media sources for featured interviews, contributory articles and selected E-Casts to reinforce their dedication to the Defense and Military Market and generate secondary sources of business. Additionally, key relationships with high-powered, VARs and REP firms were leveraged to quickly extend “feet on the street” and build the opportunity base for both firms.

This segment of the campaign will set the tone for subsequent phases, which will continue building both firms’ position, as quality leaders and generate tangible business. The rich, worldwide contact network in the Defense and Military Market and the selection of a competent and experienced Marketing Partner are the elements that made this program effective. It is clear that companies are struggling for survival in this brutal market economy. There is no free-lunch or Midas touch, however firms, in spite of the odds – are moving forward and realizing continued success.

Choosing a website designer, to make my first website, was due to my being technology challenged, and without proper knowledge as to what I was getting into.  I still remain technology challenged, and the road has not been pleasant, but with fresh, innovative lessons, I have found true direction in making my websites.

Website expectation

The expectation was to find an affordable web designer, that could do all the tech stuff, so I could focus on writing content.  I had the design in mind, the colors, the format, the mission, and was ready to make the commitment of time and resource to achieve the expectations of my endeavor.  I would continue adding content, tips, facts, and articles at periodic intervals, and had expectations of adding a few tweaks, that were suppose to be no problem.

Web realities

I was working on a web-tv, more of a casual surfing keyboard, cast on the tv screen.  I started using the computer, but a mutual understanding in regards to the implication of my site was with ongoing discord.  I strived for my content to be perfect, so as to not need repeated revisions.  Cost was escalating with page cost and hourly cost, which seemed to take longer and longer.  There was project cost on top of it, appearing to be triple charges.  I dreaded her emails, and I grasped at indications that we might have some rapport, even a mutual understanding of the task at hand.

Sitebuilder Innovation

Sitebuilders, those innovative no HTML knowledge required website editors were not as assessable when I began, as they are now.  Of course it is likely, I just did not come across such a novel tool at the time.  I won’t say I became completely liberated, and even with a site builder, my endeavors are a bit basic, but that is fine.  It affords me to write, express, and seek the subtle interaction with my web visitors, through some unforeseen similar destination, and purpose.

It is about choice, full knowledge, and expectations.  From a foundation of personal resolve, all that is worth attainment, is a worthy endeavor.  Some endeavor may be a little more basic, but never no less sincere, and so are the confessions of the technology challenged.

Fortune High Tech Marketing is not what it appears.  When they say it is not a pyramid, they are not being completely upfront, nor are they outright lying.  FHTM  may very well be a money machine, as is represented, but it is very difficult to get to the level required in order to make any real money.  FHTM has a minimal buy in price, at only a few hundred dollars.  While some make that initial fee back within days, others never see it returned.  There are numerous reasons for such a diverse outcome.

First, if you are in Canada, you may as well forget it.  There are limited FHTM products available in Canada and the ones that are available have ridiculous monthly fees attached.  Also, the products that are available in Canada, while certainly excellent products, have enormous shipping fees attached, making the reasonably priced product, now overpriced.

Second, the number of meetings that one must attend and bring their friends and family to are on the ridiculous side.  There are the Saturday training meetings that take up most of the day, the weekly or bi-weekly meetings that one is suppose to take friends to in order to entice them to sign up, and finally, the week long training seminars (for the really motivated ones). Now, who wants to go to work all day just to sit in a meeting with four or five of their neighbors and friends?  It is very difficult to entice people to go to these meetings when they are really not that interested.

Now, if they look at the payment plan, they may be a bit more interested, but getting them to come out to the meetings to actually see that payment plan is tedious and frustrating.  As a representative of FHTM, it is difficult to get people interested and you need them to sign up in order for you to make any money.

With this said, FHTM has excellent potential.  That is if one enjoys long meetings, listening to hyped up millionaires go on and on about how much money they make, and live in the USA.  Even the big cash cows spend a large portion of their time traveling, being away from family and friends, and rushing through life just to get as many people as possible on their ‘team’.

Personally, I would much rather stop the rush of life, relax in my home and spend time with family and friends.  Is there a way to earn a great living while relaxing at home?  You bet!!  Where there’s a will, there’s a way – a great, simple, and fun way!
